Good Ambiance and Beautiful Surroundings Spent the New Year's Eve with my family in a lodge surrounded by beautiful palm trees and lovely bungalows. the pool area was definitely a highlight, with its crystal-clear water inviting us for a swim. the food was also great and well presented. Added to that, we had access to reliable Wi-Fi, which was useful for keeping in touch with loved ones back home.

Poor Staff Attitude and Maintenance the staff wasn't hospitable and at times seemed uninterested in helping us. the room we stayed in was not what we had expected: it was poorly maintained, with a broken lamp and a leaking faucet.

Spent my New Year here and loved the welcoming staff who offered us fresh towels and even a song! The rooms were comfortable with spacious bathrooms and tea-making facilities. The hotel had a beautiful rustic ambience with traditional architecture and a lovely wood fire in the restaurant area. The food had a great variety, from Western to Tanzanian to Indian dishes. The location was key for the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, making it a good transit option.

The WiFi was only available in the reception area and not in the rooms. The pool looked inviting but we didn't get to use it due to the low tourist season.

During our safari adventure in the Serengeti area, we came across this hidden gem in the center of Karatu. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and spotless lodges that provided a comfortable stay. the friendly and skilled staff made us feel welcome, and the delicious meals served at the restaurant exceeded our expectations. the beautiful surroundings and proximity to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater were key advantages for exploring the area.

We did encounter a minor setback with the absence of wifi in the rooms.
